How We Got Started

The roots of After Dark Co. trace back to 2012, when our founder, Jaimie, was a nursing student looking for a flexible side gig. She began by hosting in-home Pure Romance parties—bringing products, laughter, and important (but often hush-hush) conversations about intimacy directly to women’s living rooms.

What started as a fun way to make extra income quickly became something more meaningful. Jaimie saw firsthand that most people were craving real education, safe products, and a shame-free space to talk openly about sex and relationships.

Over the next decade, she gained deep product knowledge, heard hundreds of personal stories, and built lasting connections. Eventually, it was time to evolve—and that’s how After Dark Co. was born: a modern, elevated space where pleasure meets professionalism, and quality always comes first.

Today, After Dark Co. is a full-service intimacy boutique and educational platform, built from everything learned along the way—and committed to helping you spark more connection, confidence, and fun in your relationships.

I’m Jaimie—CEO, educator, and proud Midwesterner. I’m getting married in August 2025, and the bonus mom of two energetic sons. When we’re not cheering at sporting events or cooking up family dinners, you’ll find us planning our next cruise (the ocean is our happy place).
